    I have everything but the recipient car to do a LS swap, a V8 Miata has been a to-do list item of mine for a while. I am looking for a car with a solid body but the driveline can be in any condition because it is getting yanked anyway. I would prefer something in the DC area.

    2005 is the last year of the NB cars. You're looking for an NB or NC? Either?

    I would prefer NC for a few reasons, but if a good NB came in front of me I would consider it.

    NCs are probably the "worst" Miatas from a weight and dynamics standpoint, but do make more comfortable daily drivers than the earlier cars.
