    Hello!

I picked up a 1990 black on black Mondial T with 13K on the Clock!
I am here to learn the things I need to know!

As of right now I am Awaiting parts to do a 30k service.
Car runs and drives was started weekly but maybe driven 50 miles a year ........
Oil changed yearly and coolant was flushed twice. I have zero info on the timing belt !!!!

I plan on doing a full service my self since I have the time and space was a tech for 15 years before coming Mech engineer.

I have the PDF of the work shop manual, but I'm looking for a motor manual or some thing that has the bolt TQ specs and more Info! My workshop PDF does not have this info.... in the M section......

    any help would be great

    Kevin

Section "M" towards the back should have what you need in re: to TQ specs/tools needed etc. (separated by 2/4 valve though, so read carefully)

Congrats, and did you buy a Convertible or Coupe?

You mean the thing on the steering column? Looks like an aftermarket radar detector.

Black is one of the best colors for this car.

    Nice pick up!

Can I ask where it was advertised? I would have noticed a 13,000 mile black T cab in my daily fantasy searches.

Not sure where it was listed, but a friend came upon it when listing the owners house for sale and she could not get it sold.

Page B88 in the 348 Workshop Manual provides a bunch of engine-related torques for the 348 engine (which is, of course, the engine in the Mondial t but with some differences like valve clearances). I have found that the 348 Workshop Manual provides more information about the engine (and probably also gearbox) than does the Mondial t Workshop Manual. I did a major service a few years ago and posted my photos on FChat.

The 348 section on FChat also has a lot of information. There are a few excellent YouTube videos covering 348 engine major service, including even service of the chain (and its associated parts) that drives the single cam belt.
