    What does this mean.
On one hand it could be vaporware.
On the other hand unless lotus has some new electric tech it’s going to be really heavy for a lotus and range limited for sports car, but will have outrageous and irrelevant performance numbers

I’m so excited I could lie down and do nothing. Poor lotus.

    I’m not holding my breath.

Last cars announced were all vaporware.

But I would like to see them do well.

Lotus was bought by Geely who bought Volvo and have a 10% stake in Daimler.

From what I read a conservative budget of 1.5 billion being invested in the company

I was really hoping for a new Elise to be announced though I had no expectations of it.

Yes Danny didn't do lotus any favors, although some of the designs were rather good, I think if you read more about what is currently happening and not just this "headline" car there are LOTUS DNA cars coming for world markets backed by significant finances and people.

True but at the time they deemed the weight gain and engineering cost not to mention the US cost of compliance wasn't worth the effort.
