I have found some old papers in my office that relate to the above two RHD cars (servicing invoices, letters to Maranello Concessionaires etc.) I seem to remember buying these at the Beaulieu Autojumble around 2002-2004. I am sure the owners of these cars, if they still exist, would like to be reunited with these but I have been unable to trace them. I found out the following:

275GTB4 was owned br R. Symondson between 1969 and 1971. It was severely damaged when Symondson crashed it at Silverstone and he sold it damaged to M.A. Purkis.

Daytona was purchased new by R. Symondson in 1972 and owned it until at least 1974. I have a note that it was owned by Peter Hughes in 1980 and then John Collins in 1987.

If anyone can help put me in touch with the current owners I would be happy to send the paperwork to them.

    11013:
    April 1971:
The story of the car's ownership by Ronald C. Symondson, including the crash that DESTROYED it, can be found in the club magazine "Bugantics", Vol. 37 No. 2. There Symondson reports that he "took the car to a practice day at Silverstone on the Club circuit. There I stupidly “lost it” at Maggots and went backwards into a bank at about 100 mph. I left the car through the rear window. The chassis was gravely damaged and the excursion did not do me much good either for the time being. I loved the car and was keen to get it repaired but after much cogitation and some preliminary work by Maranello Concessionaires I decided to sell it “as was” and ordered a new Daytona."

11013 was last seen in 2011 in the UK with a client of DK Engineering.

It's been repainted several times and not in the correct color anyway.

Originally it was Argento Auteuil Metallizzato 106-E-1.

11013 lives in Cheshire. I don't know the owner of 14795 but I think Dick Lovett look after it. EDIT: sorry, had missed Mark's post above about the Daytona!!!

I have never seen a 365GTB/4 with a boot on the shifter they were almost always gated. Is this a one off thing, done after the fact or have I just not been paying attention?

UK RHD cars have the boot. Colonel Ronnie Hoare of Maranello Concessionaires, the UK Importer, specified them I believe.

Could very well be so, especially since the interior in that photo appear to feature many other non-original details.

I am pleased to say that I have traced the Daytona and the papers are on their way to join the rest of the car's history.

I have a lead on the current owner of the 275GTB4 and am hoping to be put in touch with him/her soon.
