I own the modern Astrographic - an hommage to the relatively unsuccessful 1969 model - and particularly like its distinctive look, something that is neither historic nor contemporary. How do you like yours?
I've been interested in the 5085, but can't find a local one to try on. How does it wear on the wrist? I have a 7-1/2 wrist and trying to gauge if the bracelet will wear bigger than its 37 mm or not?
5085 is a very interesting PP The caliber is the one they then used on 3712 and 5712. Being 37mm it wears well on small and medium wrists
Yes the 5085 is very, very comfortable and has the little 240 engine, micro so it is slim. And fits on a small wrist better. I think it is the best buy in complicated Patek's . My next choice is the 5036. I love the dial in black with white gold band. The 5085 is from $14,000 to $18,000 and the 5036 , discontinued, starts at about $31,000. Thanks. It's my favorite daily wear watch I've ever had... and if I get mugged I can hit the guy over the head with it!
