Interior changed to Blu Scurro. Ty DAdr for the suggestion.

Last bit I’m struggling with carbon fiber engine compartment for 8k. The rest of the exterior is all carbon- there is a ton of carbon already on the interior. 8k for the engine. If this was a regular production car- no chance in hell I’d waste the money- but since is a “limited edition” and I use that term very loosely- maybe it’s worth it to dress up the car as much as possible?

You are very welcome and I know you will love Scuro such a rich color in person.

The engine is the heart and soul of every Ferrari and in my opinion is the one area that should get CF. You have CF everywhere else and the rear vents moulding is immediately adjacent the the engine bay and with the Pista having CF air plenums as standard the black plastic will surely stick out. Everybody wants the see the engine and a big reason why we enjoy the glass bonnet. Everyone would comment on the CF bay of the Speciale as beautiful and the Pista with its smaller engine size and turbos even needs more area of coverage. I know people who if they only get 1 option of CF in the special series it would be the engine bay.

Now, I agree I would not do it on a production series as they have red aluminum plenums or in a Spider as it just isn’t seen.

Just my 2 cents, but your 8k!

Haha! Don’t worry you’ll forget the cost when you get the car, but you would constantly remember the plastic bits around the engine when owning the car. And you would probably also have forgotten what you did differently with the $8k. Unless you bought a handbag..... That you would remember!

Yeah carbon engine bay for sure on a Pista. Can't wait to see the real pics inside and out down the road here soon. I'm sure the wait is going to drive you nuts. Love your spec so far, going to be ridiculously gorgeous.

spec is finalized and submitted. Carbon on the engine has been added. please dont tell my wife about this. I told her this car is going to appreciate to 3 million bucks and id be a fool not to buy it. And of course it will only reach 3 million in appreciate if I do my exact spec. if I leave something out, like the engine bay in carbon, car is worthless.

Scuro is a very dark blue. I would definitely do Scuro. I did mine. You need to see the samples in person at the dealership to realize how dark it is.

And I am glad you did the engine bay CF pieces. You really want to showcase the engine as much as possible. It's prominent part of the car. That much plastic in the engine bay would have looked horrible.

You’ll love the Blu Scuro. My F12 has that interior and it’s just so unique. With just a small hint of blue, it’s really a charcoal gray with special pop to it.

A bit different for the UK as a lot of external carbon included as standard including engine bay. You need to get all the carbon (apart from the front trunk carbon). I would also recomend the front lifter (a must for UK market) rear camera (not the front as it looks ugly) seat lifter and upgraded stereo (the standard is the same useless system as fitted to Speciale). I also upgraded all the interior to Alcantara. I also had gold rims and silver blue silver strips (the car is in rosso corsa). Be careful of having a light centre strip as the car now has a black shark fin for the dab radio. With all these extras the car was still below £300k in the UK.

Dont need/want a front lifter. Have never ever needed it on my 488.
Alcantara is standard in the US - the entire interior is Alcantara
upgraded radio is a waste for me- no interest in it
Shark fin- not sure I can avoid it but not sure if it comes with the upgraded stereo

I’m just getting the standard carbon on the exterior and no additional carbon on the interior. Not matt.
