https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/es19/essen/lots/r0195-1970-ferrari-dino-246-gt-by-scaglietti/757303 Interesting lot. Offered without reserve - brave seller. LHD to RHD conversion - how easy is that? - and then back again! Poor car must be getting very confused by now!!
Looks like some good, some bad to me. It does look like some work was, let's say, cost effective. The close ups of the paint work don't look good, and the interior work is obviously incorrect from what they're showing (door cards, seats, dash.)
Agree. Nice from a distance, but urethane waves in the paint and the wrinkles in dash covering. Plenty of past owners plus no mention of an engine serial number…
00840 SHOULD have internal engine number 221 L (Fiat #000.5630). Don't know what engine is in the car today. Marcel Massini
How extraordinary - exactly the same price as the ex-Matthias B car sold in Paris inn February, down to the last euro: https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/pa19/paris/lots/r0082-1970-ferrari-dino-246-gt-by-scaglietti/739824 I know which one I should prefer to own.
