    Ferrari World...
It is true that this blue is not the most pleasant. However, it's the original color of the car...

I would and do order items from ACME.... I never recommend buying anything from Legacy Diecast or their other shop Mint Models.

Yes but Bertone also showed it on their stand in silver. Silver is original too :)

Since you're all talking about the Bertone 250 Ferrari... I 'll jump on the bandwagon on this... I purchased a 1:18 scale of one maybe 10 year ago. I don't remember who made them, however it could have been ABC models. At the time no one had one in "red" and in the scale I wanted until I saw this on ebay, so of course I bought it.

Great to see this. I remember these, and almost bought one, but I passed on it. I don't remember which company was making them.... it was one of the Italian's, but definitely not ABC.

I think, it was made by RP-Model and later on by Atelier Car Models.

I still own a kit of the model (250 SWB Bertone / #3269) - resin parts, metal parts, etched parts, decals; 3 sheets instructions, but no manufacturer - but on the box: "Model Car Collection / Made in Italy".
If someone is interested in the kit, please let me know - I am going to sell the kit (Germany)

Good call, Tom. Now that Ferraris are off the table at Hiro, I wish he'd do some Can-Am stuff, too...Lola T-70's and McLarens would be juicy subjects in 1/12...

I highly doubt they will do Can Am cars other than the Porsche 917's. They are still making Ferrari kits more than ever as the renewed the license.

Is the engine molded in one piece? If so, it seems pretty well done ! Is the front hood already cut ?

The thought of trying to trim and assemble those photoetched window trims and clear plastic is enough to deter me from trying to build a kit like that.

I don't have the kit yet but I think it is very thin around the engine cover area. Should be pretty easy to cut if desired. You have to do photoetch window frames if you want a good looking model. The difference between BBR and AMR and even AMR used them for side windows... They make these kits to be the best, not easy to build.

By the way, I talked him into doing the Maserati 420M Eldorado Monza 1957 500 in 1/24th scale and maybe a certain kings 375 Plus also in 1/24th scale.
