I would agree- but when I had put mine 1 week on eBay it was a joke: ppl from Russia asking to buy it, offer at 75k, call from
Barrer Jackson to put it at their auctions, no serious buyer except 2: 1 in England and 1 in the Us who after I googled him had been arrested for tax evasion 5 years ago and had been released...I passed and sold on the forum ;)

Its such a hassle selling a car no matter what condition it is in.

Not a TR, but I got a call yesterday on my 308 GT4.

The guy wanted to buy it for his depressed 20-30 year old son (hmm OK?)

He kept referring to it as "the car" (not, "the Honda" or "the Ferrari" etc).

Then, his final thought was, "so your car sounds great, I am happy you answered all my questions about it, I just want to make sure it's not going to be an expensive car to own"...

I was like, well, it's a Ferrari? So, none of them are "cheap" to own? (apparently this was the first he'd ever heard of that lol)

Local guy too. Called me back, told me my car was worth $30K according to all the dealers his son knows, and Hagerty, and then offered me $25K...

AND tried to pull the Veteran card! (to which, I replied, oh yea? Nice, I am a veteran too....he was silent lol)

    I hate selling

I didn't mind the insult honestly, as he seemed completely out of his mind. But def aggravating. I found it kind of comical though. He didn't understand me when I said "$30K huh, do me a favor, if you find a few of these for $30K, let me know, I'll buy them all!" lol

Plus, I can't stand the Vet card.

Veteran card for someone that used to be in the army, military etc. Pretty much the person is using this to get a discount;)

A not very original car with a weird interior ( crema/brown/black? yuck) almost due for a big service and they want beyond all the money?

    Good luck with that.

Correct. I am a vet, and also still in the Army, but am uncomfortable using that as some sort of reason the public owe's me a favor or a crutch

Same happened to us on the LM002. Unsolicited call from a woman who wanted to buy it for her son. Asked what we wanted. Told her not for sale really but an offer North of $300,000 and we can begin a discussion. She called back a few days later and offered $170,000 and said thats all they are worth? OK.

If this were NOT a local person, I would've thought more "scam" in my head, but his phone number was local, and came back a few towns over per Google. So maybe just some sort of "call and lowball and hope they're desperate" play? Idk. But weird either way.

(PS the phone number was a Bridgeport CT number for a Physic Reading business lol, maybe I should've considered "scam" was the "play")

The blue is very pretty though. It is very unusual. What do you think its worth Brian? 80-90? Of course if he is having trouble selling then the buyer will as well. All that has to be taken in consideration. I have original wheels for it. Inside color is off but does not bother me so much. Just different. You don't see blue ones up much. He probably has 60 in it.

If I was looking at it for a client I'd tell him to deduct $30k from current market. Whatever that is.

Improperly painted, missing wheels, missing correct steering wheel, missing correct emblems, ugly interior, missing correct exhaust. Thats from just pictures.

That would be about 70k which is why its still there. The lower short rockers are all body painted as is the front lip spoiler. I noticed that as well.

If they were really psychic they would have known their low-ball offer wouldn't be accepted and they shouldn't waste your time. :)

It also looks like they applied PPF only to the front wheel arches and leading edge of the hood and fender. WHY????
