And I can’t wait to get my car out!
It won’t be long now .

Does anyone have any interesting re-commissioning rituals?

As a NY'er I typically wait for at least two heavy rainfalls to wash away the salt and brine before taking my cars out. It's nice to wait a bit longer for potholes to be patched as well.

Ron, I guess being in the northeast you experienced some good temps on Thursday and Friday. It was 71 in Blandon PA on Friday- sure wasn't expecting that. Then we had a really brief torrential downpour and now it's back to being cold again. I try to start mine once or twice per month over the winter and back it out of the garage into the driveway, because we had a few days here and there where it broke into the 50's. I still see salt residue along the sides of the road, so like Alexion above I'd like another few really soaking rainstorms. I'll check fluids and adjust tire pressure but not get too crazy before the first drive. I didn't even have my top down all last summer. Before we know it our northeastern US high heat and humidity will be here. Thankfully my AC still seems to be blowing ice cold, and your vent additions are working well.

A couple of yrs ago I noticed I get the first drive in right around opening day, which is probably not a coincidence! The road salt/rust anxiety is still there but as mentioned by a couple of folks above at least some of it has been washed off
