I'd love to see Missouri's last remaining NFL team go all the way next year :)

Hi Paul. Thanks for straightening me out. The three other programs in the AFC East have the easiest non conference schedules due to the fact that they average something like 5-11 every year so they are playing the rest of the bottom feeders. As I said, I do not follow the NFL, so I just make up my facts. Research is tedious. And they ain't my Steelers. I can't stand their QB. The coach runs the team like it's Sesame Street.

I wonder how long the Rams will last in LA this time.

They have the O (assuming Mahomes doesn't hurt himself in pickup basketball games!). They need to plug some gaps on D, and I think they have a large window for playoff success ahead of them...T

NFL has invested a lot of its prestige in making NFL-in-LA work this time. I think the NFL Network will be moving their studios into the new stadium (I thought I read that somewhere, but can't lay my hands on it right now). It's gonna have to be a real disaster before they abandon LA again. Or, some football-desperate city offers them more cash! :)

a while. too much $$$ dumped into that new stadium. and the NFL wants at least one team in LA, so I don't think they'd let them leave.

I know I've said just how good Will Fuller is, and that he and Hopkins would be more like 1a and 1b instead of 1 and 2 of Fuller could stay healthy. Pretty great stats for someone who can't stay healthy.

Is Nick Foles a "savior" QB for a desperate team, or is he "fool's gold" for a sucker team? I just read an article that suggests the latter.

Not sure, but it'll be fun to watch. He's got a better track record than some (most?) recent franchise saviors like Kirk Cousins, Jimmy G, Brockoli, and a myriad of first round rooks - more games, more success against winning teams, & in the playoffs. Oh yeah, and he's a Super Bowl MVP!

    BTW, this article?
    https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2819603-buyer-beware-nick-foles-is-qb-fools-gold-in-free-agency

A good point the above article makes is that the likely destinations for Foles are likely to have much less skill position talent than the Eagles. Who'd want to be the savior in Miami?

In fact, I am trying to think of a recent case where a highly touted free agent QB came in and immediately changed a team's fortunes for the good? But it's early and I have not had my espresso.

Tom, you have one critical -but not fatal - fault, but otherwise you are the greatest! I am nominating the above for Post of the Year. We were one slippery missed catch away from another SB Victory and World Domination. Next year for sure.

It's the way of the world, I guess. These egomaniacs make too much money and forget why they made any money in the first place.

Presumably, he's been spouting off about more than brain injury and the NFL. I'm sure the NFL doesn't like it, but the link between CTE & NFL seems pretty incontrovertible, doesn't it?!?...T

So much for “the land of the free”

What did he say that crossed the line? Or was the NFL protecting its greed?

Oh, I get it - when $$ is involved then you aren’t allowed to speak the truth.

I was asking rhetorically. Or sarcastically. He simply spoke the truth. The cold hard truth hurts

As Jack Nicholson said “You (the NFL) can’t handle the truth!!”

Yea, he didn't say anything crazy from what I remember listening thst game.

I think everyone knows they don't truly care about the concussions. I think overall the players care but still see the money and the competition as worth it.
