Won't be difficult to ask for this paint. They resurrected Rosso Cordoba for this GTC4Lusso. Instead of Glasurit it'll be PPG. 456M GTA in Dark Blue Metallic. Had the BBurango scale model back in the 1990s but with creme interior! Blu Pozzi and Scozia are not metallic. I would think Blu America, but I think Tailor Made has many other interesting choices. In preparation for your Tailor Made session you should save images you like and prepare a file, it can be shared via the dealer, and tell them the concept of what you are thinking. This way they will be better able to provide suggestions. They are very very good and the process is a lot of fun!
Yes I have saved quite a few, my larger challenge is the interior. I am going to lean on them a lot to provide guidance on that but the reality is I am going with an open mind so who knows.
@bamsefar try blu le mans next time, I have a stripe on my 812 in that color Sent from my SM-G965F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Yea I know of Shmee's ex FF - not the color I am looking for. Needs more deep dark blue somehow I don't know just yet how to solve this, on the other hand I still have a lot of time available for selecting color, so I am in no rush (it's only not knowing where that pricetag will end up if I go TM that stops me).
My wife had Blu America on her Calli T , it looked fantastic, very dark and often mistaken for black at night. I now have a Verde Zeltweg car, looks fantastic, very dark and often mistaken for black at night. They were both historic colors, about £15 k I think so cheaper than Tailor Made, but not exactly cheap. But on the Ferrari options list, what is? There are good "free" blues but if you want something particular with our friends in Maranello....
Maybe think about how long you want the car? EC colors don't add much, if anything, to resale values.
And that is exactly why I am trying to avoid TM - I might think $5k is alright, maybe even $15k - but higher well that makes me wonder. And about how long: I have no plan currently to sell my FF in tdf Blue - it will stay when the 2nd Ferrari arrives (whenever that may be). So I guess I simply do not know that answer just yet
I suggest you have a good solid look at Blu Pozzi. Its not metallic, but it looks great, especially on front engine cars. And its a standard color. Beige interior with blue details and you are all set. @uhn2000 , you will be in very good hands with Tailor Made.
Thank you, we were looking at ideas last night and I got more confused so just going to let the TM team take the lead. At the end of the day I probably won't care what it looks like because its a Pista and I feel lucky/blessed to just to be in this position to do this all while celebrating our 10 year anniversary. The timing is pretty cool and my wife is very excited to join but I believe she is more looking forward to the Paris portion of our trip where I will be waiting/begging for access to the Hermes flagship store. Yes Blu Pozzi is killer amazing but my friend that had it on an FF complained that it was one of the hardest paints he has ever had to upkeep. Its flat and rich but shows everything because of its very pure nature.
What a fantastic trip! Congratulations on your 10th wedding anniversary! Yes, Blu Pozzi is difficult to keep clean. But this won't be different for any dark color.
Blu Pozzi looks amazing but it needs a ceramic coating before delivery and then I would suggest a bi-annual detail to keep it looking it's best. it doesn't photograph well though, if that matters (it doesn't to me).
Thanks I am bouncing between a blue exterior and white. At TM they have an special white call "Bianco King" or something like that. Additionally was going to do something good with the livery, inside with some paint trim touches, and then I just may splurge for the carbon wheels regardless of delay - its the only car I will probably ever buy them on and so why not. We shall see, literally 11 days away.
Have you ever seen blu scuro micalizzato? I had an F355 berlinetta in this color and it was splendid. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Image Unavailable, Please Login How about really pushing the Tailor Made department and asking for Porsche Midnight Blue. It’s a great colour!
Well I know of the Porsche color, and then also let's not forget BMW Carbon Black Metallic that I also like alot.
Not shot well, here's another Tailor Made color called Blu Hellenwith Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Blu America is stunning and among the most beautiful shade of blues you can have... but the price is eye-watering.
Oh my I can't wait to get my blue on! WOW.. I was going to try white but honestly its all about the blues for me. So nice!
