is it just me or has the 430 pricing stayed the same last 5 years?

Thinking of buying a 2007 f430. before i spend $110k, do you guys think this will stay the same?

Lost sooooooooooo much money on my aston martin vantage, that im DONE with aston. A car i bought for $80k cpo had a trade in value of 30k lol.

anwyays do you guys think 430 pricing will drop anytime soon?

Its just you. The 430 market has come down (a fair bit) since 2014 (to use your "5 years" as a starting point).

That said, a 2007 430 purchased (with appropriate due diligence) for $110k will not lose money like your Vantage did.

None of us can predict the future, but a sane/rational/safe prediction is that used "higher production modern" Ferrari's - like the 430 - will continue to decline in price for a while.

See attached graph for UK F430 advertised prices 2014 to present. They’ve come off their highs of 2017 but still above 2014 levels. 2018 was a poor year for almost everything but I’d say the F430 is a decent buy right now as it’s being supported by strong 458 residuals making the jump up a sizeable one.

the years seems to be cut.

SO guess what were saying is that 2014 was a drop. 2017 huge increase. and 2018 drop again.

    interesting.

i only compared 2014 vs 2019 and was like wtf. lol how the hell did it stay the same.

Couldn’t shrink the graph to get the years in but jan 14 on the left, jan 19 on the right. Ferrari’s pretty much depreciate for 10 years and then depending on the markets fondness for the car will hold value. 14 through 17 was a bull run but I think those years are over for everything but the proper classics and perhaps the hypers.

360’s are just a crazy good value. 430 same. Guessing I paid top dollar for my 360 Spider stick year ago. ~2300 spider stick made worldwide. Can’t go down forever.

    I paid $120,000 for a 2006 F430 with about 18,000 miles back in 2014. Now I have about 24,000 and I'm guessing on a good day I could get $100k - 110k not that I'm looking to sell. Sheesh! a 2007 599 with 17,000 went for $130,000 on BAT just last week.

I have observed over the last 25 years or so that most models bottom out around 10 years after production ends. There can be some variation due to economic trends. Then most of the time they bounce along a bottom or a number of years. 360s are a prime example. Typically, a recession or an economic boom will affect prices somewhat during this period but a model has to get "hot" for some reason to really move up.

Good observation. Keep in mind you could pickup a GTO back in the late 60s for around $2500. It took time for the values to shoot to the moon :) Then again those were hand built cars numbering in the 10s and 100s vs our modern robot/computer manufactured machines which are much more numerous. I would also add that the younger generation has little or no interest in cars; at least here in Silicon Valley and that will probably keep the prices sliding down especially on the gated ones(wicked grin).

you are not wrong - its been pretty flat over past few years - there was as a spike in stick shift 430s but the F1s have been pretty stable.

Honestly the minor variations in price on both the 360 and the F430 have been minor. I would expect that when more 458 cars come down a bit more to see the prices slide down a bit more, specifically the F1 variants but gated models holing somewhat firm since the crowd that seeks those will shore those prices up. Over all though I’d say now is as good of a time as any to get into a 360 f 430 or for the newer cars an FF or California. Even 458 coupes aren’t as bad as they were though I still think the F430 is a slightly better buy right now.

When you buy right, you never have to worry about what the market does.

I bough mine right, can’t tell you what I paid for my 07 with fulll clear bra, parking sensors and full Fasbspeed. Originals exhaust was part of it too.

Car had only 11,000 miles. Best part, I don’t really care about values because I justify it by driving. Same way I was with my Testarossa.

Life is short to worry about 10.20.30K.

I take a F car over Austin any day.

When I find a 458 at my price, I will sell my 430. In case anyone is interested, contact me. She now has 20,300 miles and always fully serviced. Offers north of $110,000 will get my attention.

Grigio Titanio with gray leather interior.

I have a 2007 F430 manual Rosso Corsa with all the option boxes checked with 19k miles and have received multiple cash offers in the $200,000 range....the manuals are definitely increasing in value IMO. Too bad I’m not in the market to sell....I enjoy driving it too much!
