Aw makes sense....if in 08, same thing happened to the Scud. I still think the Scud is one of the most undervalued car of today’s market. Sent from my 16M
Dude, you don't get a lot of things...run along. Keep playing on car forums even though you own none (well maybe prius). What are you driving today--honestly what is in the garage right now?
Nothing at all. I don't even have a garage now -- live in the city, so ubers, taxis, and metros are the best ways to get around. So again, what was your point? You were talking about depreciation and number of cars for sale. What's the difference between the Performante and the 720S in that regards? Both are asking $50K under sticker for 2018s. The Huracan line never had strong residuals in early years. I remember 2015s going for $50K under sticker within a year, and that was a brand new model.
Modern Ferrari 12 cylinder cars have had massive depreciation. Strange because it is the V12 engine that established the brand and is a wonderful driving experience. But the entry point is considerably higher and appeals to a different client. Less “in your face “ flashy and less “sporty” personality.
Please buddy. You embarrassing yourself. You remind me of the guys I meet on aviation forums who want to tell me about the various strengths and weaknesses of certain airplanes and they don’t know how to fly (I have 16,000 hours). You haven’t even suited up and your telling the QB what he’s doing wrong. Just.... go away.
BTW who cares about depreciation? If you can afford these cars then you can afford to lose money on them. Why does depreciation even matter? It’s only a concern to people who can’t afford to play in this world, sorry...
True. Guess I just don’t like the looks and it’s a personal thing for me. Obviously it’s not the popular opinion among most.
What's that have to do with depreciation? Ah that's right, nothing... I'll check back in with you on $1M Speciales in a few years That's still your prediction, right?
Image Unavailable, Please Login https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2015-Ferrari-458-Speciale-A-Auto/OAG-AD-16248349 That’s USD$985,310, for your info... Will you go away quietly now? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
You'd think after it didnt sell for a year and half/ two years in London they'd price it realistically in Australia...
LMFAO. Exactly what I predicted. Run along to the Uber or Lyft forums...I'm sure you will be well received and more of an expert in those forms of transportation. Talking with you is like talking w/ my 10 year old niece. Albeit she has more credibility because she owns the Barbie car.
So you're not going to tell us what your point was about depreciation and how many cars are for sale regarding the P?
Speciales go for 260-300k € in Europe. But the prices MIGHT rise high within the next 3-4 years! What most non Europeans do not take into consideration is the fact that Ferrari is a EU based company and has to produce under European emission and noise level guidelines - these will change on 01/01/19. Audi had to stop the production of every RS model in order to fullfill the new guidelines. Even the valve buttons have already gone from the cars by late 2018. Aftermarket valved exhausts which are capable of changing the noise level of a car have been declared illegal in the whole European Union. I think there won't be any new cars with sound and emotion even close to a Speciale, Pista, 812 or Huracan, R8 and so on. The 458 and 488 have a noise level limit of 76dB with closed valves. This 76dB noise level will become the maximum allowed noise level for any car with opened valves. So image you hit the gas and your Ferrari won't start screaming at you - it stays calm - that is what will happen from 2019 on.
those who can't, lecture others. we have had numerous comments from noone over the course of many posts looking for little else but to stir trouble with zero first hand experience. he has too much time on his hands and little to do, other than snipe from the bleachers. best to ignore, not engage. don't be Noone's fool!
Is it for every car built? Or average of the total production? It is a death sentence for sports car... Now the speaker war begins... Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
