Having tracked a couple of cars and replaced a few parts... Yes, I'd buy a tracked Ferrari. No, I wouldn't buy it remotely, I'd insist on driving it at 85+ mph to check out control arms, wheel bearings and such. Suspensions can take a beating at the track. But if the price was right, or the spec was perfect, I wouldn't care.

I've eyed the Speciale in SA myself, someone is going to get a good deal, I think.

I agree and would like to know who ends up picking it up. I personally didn’t have time to view the car in person and in detail.
If it checks out, then it’s a superb deal! If anyone is interested in some details on that car feel free to PM me.

If you like the color, sounds like a good price for a Speciale. I look at that spec and I can't see why one would be $380K vs $335K.

If you're gonna put miles on it, you might as well put more miles on this one!

Pista came in and decided I only wanted to keep one of my speciale's. Figured I'll just pass along the car to someone here who'd appreciate it.

Looks like my former Speciale. Argentines Nuremberg? I didn’t have those mats though.

The sale price also correlates to the original sticker price of the purchased car. Sometimes that is a bigger consideration then even then miles as long as it’s not over 5k miles.

I have the silver one and a Tdf that has 65 miles that I’m keeping mint.

Yes it’s Argento. Mats came with the car when I bought it.

It’s actually 3 owners. For whatever reason Ferrari ft lauderdale registered the previous owner twice and the “2nd owner” was a dealership when it was for sale. I’m getting the carfax corrected.

I was second owner, FWIW. From what I’ve traced it looks like 4 owners total.

On the largest European web site (mobile.de) there are currently 85 for sale (90 are listed but 2 are for a regular 458 with a body kit, and 3 are Speciale Aperta), the cheapest at an advertised EUR 240K (USD 273K) - such cars have about 35K miles though.
An official German Ferrari dealer has one (Ferrari approved) for EUR 268K (USD 305K), with less than 10K miles.
The trend is clearly down, and most of the prices are already below the initial MSRP (considering the high prices for Ferrari optional equipment). But probably not by much, so the depreciation has been objectively very low in 4 years - a very good deal for the first buyers, but not one that would make someone rich.

More or less...When I first saw it in service being prepped for delivery I genuinely thought it had some association to McDonalds as some ridiculous promo car or owned by a big franchise owner.

Lol, I’m the third owner and also tracked the car a few times. No issues what so ever!! It’s a great car and so worth the money. I actually regret selling it:-(

Here is an interesting fact. Were the numbers on the Speciale less than 3,000 cars or less than 1,000 cars per year ?

Well in 2019 they will be able to be driven on Australian roads . Australia might see an influx of cars.

FYI our Aussie Speciale on the market are around $850,000 or $610,00 USD.

And the price of a LaFerrari has gone bang over 5 MILLION.

AT LEAST NOW WE MIGHT SEE ONE ON THE ROAD :)

The Speciale has been out of production for years, why is not until 2019 for it to be able to be driven in Australia? Any idea what the Limited Edition 458 Speciale A cost there?

Its because they just introduced the law to allow low volume manufactured cars that are left hand drive to be driven on our roads.

Last S.A I saw was $1.5 Milliion or close to $1.1 Million USD

Just sold my 335k window '14 Speciale with 11.4k miles for 310k to a dealer. Window was technically 317k when subtracting cost of air freight.
