    hi , just got this new $125 wireless solar powered back up cam ! Will try it see how it works ! it includes a display screen you can mount / use in the cabin that wakes up w/ a hand waved in front of the screen ! as the car is parked , put away w/ a cover we wonder how long the battery in the camera transmitter willl last / work ?     Have it on 3 of my cars. Works great. No issue. Used micro USB port on the display wired into fuse box’s acc

    Don’t forget there is also a micro USB port on the bottom of the license plate frame, which you can charge if when parked, by running a charging brick to it. I doubt it will last a month without solar charging.

    I ran a pearl unit that would die 3 weeks out in the garage. Happened only once as I do drive my car daily and park it outside at work +1 hour commute.

    Its paired to your smartphone and works well, but I'd prefer a dedicated screen as pulling out my phone takes more time than I need to back up. Great idea if you want to keep everything stock inside the cabin.

    Having a backup camera hardwired to my highlander, using the existing screen. $300 installed at a stereo shop. Getting a near factory cam installed is way cheaper than I thought...

    yes this comes w/ it's own 5" screen display yes I found the USB charging port on the bottom of the license plate frame ! so, as said one could keep it charged whilst parked and covered easily ! the instructions are very lousy! some had said the view out to the rear w/ a windshield / rear view mounted mirror dash cam was poor! I plan to update install a flip out 7"? screen head unit soon and as this is blue tooth mayhaps it could be paired ? as I hate the Becker! which is best? ....................................................... PS our new 2018 range rover Evoque has cameras all around and a 360 deg view avail ! awesome ! off road you can use it to avoid rocks nailing a wheel !
