Thanks for sharing, Pedro. I heard the girl is OK. Some onlookers needed medical assistance, but nothing too serious, it seems.
An update from Macau officials after the race confirmed the up and coming driver had suffered a spinal fracture in the crash, her vital signs are stable https://www.google.it/url?sa=i&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwixzNf-593eAhWL3KQKHS2VBG4QzPwBegQIARAC&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.news.com.au%2Fsport%2Fmotorsport%2Fformula-one%2Fterrifying-crash-suspends-macau-grand-prix-as-driver-flies-through-the-air%2Fnews-story%2F417a40dfcf81a98ddd3f3f507434722d&psig=AOvVaw1RAIsHiOz9C7VySo6m3TI-&ust=1542626049093374&cshid=1542539645942
After Wickens crash in Indycar, this is another accident causing spinal injury. I hope Sophia Floersch is OK and receives the best medical care available. This is a very bad advert for street circuits, just when Liberty wants more of them on the F1 calendar. Street circuits cannot afford a degree of safety comparable to permanent tracks.
Or maybe there's this question: Would the Halo have protected her??? The Halo advocates are going to want the device on F3 and more than likely use this incident as an example? just sayin The race officials will probably put higher fencing/barrier to keep this from happening.

Thanks to the @fia and @hwaag_official @MercedesAMGF1 who are taking great care of me. Thanks to everybody for the Supporting messages. Update soon.
Street circuits are just unable to cope with the danger of modern racing cars. Clearly the fencing on MOST street circuits is not the answer to flying cars that can go straight over them. To a point, the organisers were Lucky the car didn't land in a spectators area.
Another angle - the speed she's carrying is incredible - thank God she's relatively ok. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2018/nov/18/formula-three-sophia-floersch-fractures-spin-huge-crash-macau-grand-prix Best, Sammy
The closest thing I’ve seen to this was Webber and Kavalainen in 09 or 10 I think... but as bad as that was it pales to this. She was like a missile. I’m really anxious for more footage to come out to see what went wrong. That’s a whioe next level accident and will surely have people racing to address another new danger that no one envisioned.
If you look at that footage her car went ass-end into fencing. I can’t imagine the outcome if she went nose first.
Scary how that car flew and spun. Wish her the best in surgery, and hope she makes a full and prompt recovery Forza Ferrari..... the only racing team and car marque that matters. Italia forever It’s easier to apologise than it is to ask permission
She hit one car waaaaay before then hit another car on the turn then final impact that caused her to gain altitude. She was really movin. Different angles Macau Grand Prix 2018- F3 accident (Sophia Flörsch)
Just hope she wil fully revover...i heard oc a spinal fracture...but the fact she wrote s message is good.
Terrible accident , 20 years ago she would have been dead . Thing is , racing used to be a blood sport , F1 seems to have it covered at the expense of a good spectacle . The other open wheeler series are lagging in the safety area but we have to wonder , how much more can we pussify the sport ? It is just not possible to make safety provisions for pretty much every type of incident , not realistic or feasible , **** gonna happen .
I think she was really lucky that the building was "soft" and not static. the entire building shifted and took energy out of the impact. Heads going into fences has lead to much worse consequences.
Sophia Floersch went airborne at 171 MPH...how no one got pasted in this crash is beyond me. Spinal fracture but no spinal cord injury. https://www.motorsport.com/in/f3/news/floersch-spinal-fracture-macau-injury-report/3216293/
How in the world was there not a photographer in that elevated box stand at the site of impact? I see two in there after the car makes impact and start taking photos (56 sec mark in the last video posted). That is unbelievable.
There were a few photographers in the stand and three got injured, but nothing life threatening fortunately.
