I just pulled a head on a 355 with corrosion around a single head stud. That was bad enough to take all day. Got me to thinking, did someone design a head puller jig for a 355? This is common enough of a problem on 308 that there are tools for this out there. One can mount a plate to the top of a 355 heads using the number of M6 studs, but where would the pressure be put against the block / head studs?

Wouldn't surprise me if one of the pro wrenches came up with something.

I don't see a way to do it. If you used the spark plug thread as a jack location that would be very risky to the threads and pushing on the piston tops.

Using a wood wedge (gently) around the perimeter at the deck surface would probably be the best.

I recall one of mine being pretty stubborn and I just used a rubber mallet to tap around the head.

If they are very tight I grab them with a cherry picker put a little pressure and wack them with a dead blow hammer a few times until they come loose, put them back on with the picker also when they weight too much to handle at my old age.

If the belts are off and valves are closed, stuff a ball of string in the cylinders through the plug holes, then manually crank the engine.
