Seems like Pista’s crazy prices will keep Speciale prices up.

Well, then that was a deal for the buyer as you are willing to let your car go for what seems to be a very low price, that price is more than 10% less than asking prices for similar cars {color and miles} just a year and half ago...

Just saw that today, asking price EUR 230K (USD 261K) for a relatively high mileage - 61,000 KM, 38,000 miles: https://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/1521297602.htm/
And this one from a Ferrari dealer in Germany:
    https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/details.html?id=268143649&damageUnrepaired=NO_DAMAGE_UNREPAIRED&isSearchRequest=true&makeModelVariant1.makeId=8600&makeModelVariant1.modelDescription=speciale&makeModelVariant1.modelId=2&pageNumber=1&scopeId=C&sfmr=false&sortOption.sortBy=specifics.firstRegistration&sortOption.sortOrder=ASCENDING&searchId=04c44e87-a0cd-cef0-2e27-558823f95528
EUR 277K (USD 314K) for only 6,550 km (4,070 miles)
The trend in Europe seems to be downwards for Speciale.
Not sure how it could be related to the Pista price - on one side the high price of the Pista could support the Speciale prices, on the other hand some people may sell a Speciale to buy a Pista...

24 for sale via DuPont Registry search...might be down a little but lower mileage (say less than 4k) and quality specs still for sale in the 410 to 370 range.

Yeah, I put value in a quick deal to avoid the headaches. Guy gave me a deposit then couldn't get financing and asked me to be his bank and decided to pull the plug then. I'll probably throw it up here for sale

Yes I have been in the market for a while on an S.....I have been researching white ones and this is what I have found in terms of “asking” prices:
    1-2k miles $399-$419k
    3-5k miles$350-$370k
    10k miles $330k

I believe actual selling prices are $10-15k miles below asking prices.

I have a deposit on one, super excited!

There is a nice looking Bianco Avus in SA for $329k with 10k miles. Good spec with lot's of CF for those that like that. The color combos are well done too. Been there for a while now.

I was closely considering that car, but upon receipt of the service records was noted that the car was tracked at COTA. Just an FYI. Could be great driver’s car.

LOL! No problems with that whatsoever. The owner probably went on one of the track soiree events that the dealerships do. The same guy owns SA and Austin. They just had a driving event this past Monday. I took my Cali T to one and my new 488 Spider to one and also to another event a month later so my 488 has been tracked twice with less than 2000 miles.

IMO, tracking a Ferrari is part of breaking it in right. So to me, that's not an issue at all assuming it was serviced correctly. They make you get an inspection that they perform prior to their events so they make sure the car is properly outfitted and safe to drive.

    1. The most valuable cars in the world have often been wrecked and/or raced.
    2. The cost to "re-condition" a tracked Ferrari isn't that substantial. You can pay $400K for a 600 mile car or $325K for a tracked car with $75K to put into maintenance (which it probably wouldn't even need anyway.)

People are too sensitive to miles and track usage.

    I’m in full agreement.
I track my cars and have taken my 16M on track.
I personally don’t mind if a car has been tracked. However, I would take a close inspection of the cosmetics of the car such as any rock chips, windshield sandblasting, look at undertray, diffuser, etc. Also obviously look at tires and brakes. As long as owner has serviced and maintained the car, then should be fine.
For whatever it’s worth, the persons I was dealing with at Ferrari San Antonio was very straightforth about the car.
The car that I ended up buying has been on the track as well.

I also agree Ferrari owners are ridiculously OCD about miles. As you may have seen, my break down on asking prices on the Speciale spread is $100k! from low miles to 10k miles. That’s just silly.
