Same happened to me summer 2014, when I had a Euro Delivery planned on a new Porsche GT3. When production was canceled due to the engine fires, they weren't able to deliver me a GT3. So they instead provided me access to a brand new Turbo S for the summer. At first I was really upset about it, as I wanted not only to drive a GT3, but drive MY GT3. However, in the end, I was actually really happy about it, because it provided the opportunity to experience a completely different car, and discover what I liked (and didn't like) about the Turbo S. I'd take their offer, and if there's a different Ferrari model you'd rather drive than what they're offering, I'd demand said model.

HI the drive was crap !
No reflection on the car, but what usually takes us 4 hours, London to Devon took us 6.5, road works, holiday traffic and rush hour traffic outside Bristol.
So the reflection on the car there was that its very comfortable and calm in nose to tail jams.
Once we got past the traffic the car came into its own, fast and sweet handling.
I’m just finishing breakfast and will be heading for an appointment near Plymouth and then rural roads across Dartmoor.
    Very excited.

Just back from a drive over Dartmoor and surrounding roads, the car is phenomenal. WELL WORTH THE WAIT !
Just to note their were four adults on this drive, i don’t think any other car can really do what Ferrari 2 + 2 can do.
4 people ,blade like handling, elegant looks.
I will be very sad if the FUV supplants the 2+2 in future.

Hope it doesn’t either. The FF/Lusso are quite special cars - never one quite like it before or even now.

Fantastic!! I have been driving mine around and everyone loves it!

I used to think the "FUV" would supplant the 2+2; but after the capital markets days comments about more "GT" type cars, I wonder if there won't be a place for a 2+2 type car in the future?

No matter what, you have one of your very own! :)

I have had battery issues too so now must leave it on the battery conditioner if not driving it daily (even after a battery replacement). Like you said the car is amazing to drive as soon as you get comfortable with the four wheel steering. I test drove the Panamera and the performance was only decent and sound was a complete disappointment.
