    I’m curious if a car had sustained damage to its door while it was parked and subsequently the door was reskinned and painted how much this devalues a car, or since it is purely cosmetic, does it have minimal impact on the cars value.

    It wouldn't matter to me, if the repair was done well. If not done well it would devalue by the cost of getting the repair redone properly.

    It all depends on type of car , model and how well it was documented(from dent to fix), who fixed it and of course how it looks now

    458 Spider, looks about perfect, nothing on CARFAX, authorized Ferrari dealer did the repair.
