That is the first time I see the detail with the SP1 bend up into each corner. That can not be how it was done on the early L series I assume? I researched this detail quite alot when I assembled my car and concluded as per picture below. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Peter, it`s the same on untouched, one owner, #00714. Should have been original on your Dino too. Attached picture of #00714. Most of SP1 seal gone… as with most Dinos. Very difficult to find a car with the original seal still in place…

finally found the correct kill switch... Lucas SSB103
the original holes in the back wall towards the engine bay fit 100% to this period correct switch... only question remains how they fit the trigger cable coming from outside B-pillar.
"Lucas SSB103 battery isolator switch. This unit has a third terminal which connects to the case (ie earth) when the switch is switched off. This can be used for earthing the contact breaker to kill the engine when the switch is turned to off. Knob can be removed from switch by removing the circlip from the end of the knob shaft."

    One small thing,
Isn't this more correct to be M6-1.0 x 14mm Allen head for all door striker and lock set fastener
    not slot screw?
    Please forgive if bad question

Looks good. They got the idea from the 1970 Martini 917K's. Looks a lot like the Kyalami 2nd place car(beaten by the first 512M) that also ran several Euro races including the Paris 1000 in late 1970.
