Would you mind sending me a copy of your invoice as well? My dealer quoted me $2400 for the same. Thanks!!

Thank you for the great write up! I am a little confused on how the actuators actually sit on the shaft but it might be more clear once i take off the old ones.

Today i found an other sensor with same number for 7 Euro I order 6 of those and nex week im gonna test the original one on my car and compare it with those for 7 Euro I think that pin 4 is a doubler for the ground. Its just a potentiometer in a box !!! so I dont understand the prices on Eurospare 750 Euro !!!!!!!!!

That seems about right. I had my Indy do the work for $1,200, I purchase the part from Ricambi for about $550.

I already received two of those, but the mechanic told me that they don't match, ferrari dealer told me that they are out stock from Ferrari in Italy, and were supposed to be in stock within 35th week of 2018, but still no updated info yet, also, it's out of stock from many popular auto part shops, including ricambi america.

I’d be very interested in knowing the symptoms of this problem. All i saw previously was the red transmission light coming on. Is there more to it when this potentiometer goes bad?

My shop said my car was throwing a code for it. Also the gear indicator will flash when cold (usually in fourth gear) and sometimes it will miss a shift and go to neutral

due to corona virus's delay of shipments , etc, I can't put up with my car parked for 1 month or 2.

So I've decided to do a hack job. I have one set of f430 potentiometers that has a faulty "engagement sensor" and another set that has a faulty "selection sensor"

I am going to cut the wires and try to do it the audio guy's way, by cutting wires and grafting selection sensor from set 1 to set 2. I wonder if any one knows if the signal is sensitive enough to prevent from doing this?

Could anyone provide any more specifics on the installation of the sensors? Car doesn’t want to shift at all now. For the long arm does it go on the outside face or inside face of shaft. For the long arm I started 90 degree counterclockwise and and twisted clock wise for the holes to mate up. For the short arm I started 90 degree past in the clockwise direction and twisted counter clockwise for them to meet up. Clock wise is turning right with the long arm potentiometer on the left hand side.

    Thanks
