    Firstly my apologies for starting another one of these threads, but I am now getting to the end of my tether with it !

    Went to great lengths masking everything up a couple of years ago, however caught a loose tape edge and the inevitable happened.
    At the time I managed to make best of it and thought I had cleared it up........................but just recently it has come back to haunt me !

    I have tried all the usual tricks and potions:

    Pencil Eraser
    Mineral Oil
    Peanut Butter
    Various Detailing Products
    Powerful Magic
    Harsh Language

    But none of this has had any effect.

    So, open to suggestions.................

    I’ve always used a dilute ammonia solution to remove wax over-applications. That’s something it “shines” at.

    Try Griot's Dried Wax Remover. It is formulated to remove wax on metal, plastic and rubber pieces.

    forget the brand but I know there is a rubber trim spray cleaner
