Hotcars.com is an auto site that has been dumping negative content like there's no tomorrow. I've noticed they been particular prolific dogging the car the last month. Seriously, they have weekly negative articles about it.

Here's the most amazing thing though.

Today - what do they post?!

23 Supercars Under $50000 And Worth Every Penny
"no one can deny that it (Mondial) is very much a supercar that is worth the purchase, especially if you are a true Ferrari fan."

    It ranked #3 behind #2 F355 and #1 308

This, my brothers, is an amazing time when literally the same publication went from 7 weekly negative things to say about it last month, going as far as saying they wouldn't take it for free, to all of a sudden doing a complete 180 and now saying it's only behind an F355 and 308 as wise investments.

    Oy Vey!

The only logical thing I can think of is their Chief Editor was somehow fired last month and the new guy actually knows a thing or two about cars?

These are clickbait sites that use "sensational" headlines to get you to click (and they make money). I quit feeding those troll sites long ago.

If you notice the "stories" are all the same...filled with inaccuracies and hastily put together by non-car people just to get a revenue stream

No doubt, it's just funny that in the span of 1 month - the car went from the worse car of all time to nearly the top of the best car investments you can make under 50K. You would hope for some intellectual consistency, especially at a site that purports to cater to auto enthusiasts.

    :)

We all hope they get the recognition they deserve and of course go up in value. But I’ve seen this over the last 3 years with the Porsche 968. Relatively rare and hard to find a really nice one. There have been numerous articles over the last couple years that it was the next great thing in the Porsche world. And a car that is about to go through the roof in value. Yet here we are end of 2018 and they’re still selling for 15-20 grand. The higher priced ones don’t sell.

Young and fresh, not beaten by reality yet (and his manager) I give him a few weeks and he will change. Where else should the revenue come from. There are more ignorant people then us. :)
