ok, so i've exhausted all other options so i'll release this into the wild and see if anybody has any solutions I have a 488 that has a popping noise from the left rear wheel area, only on initial acceleration and reversing, in a straight line and during turns. I've checked the strut tops for play, i've swapped the rear struts, i've loosened and torqued the suspension on both sides, loosened and tightened the subframe, the frame brackets, and basically I'm out of ideas anybody have an issue like this that they were able to resolve? I'm out of ideas and the next ideas are gonna get expensive thanks in advance if you have any ideas
...including the rear stabilizer bar? How long have you had the car? Was the noise there from day 1 of ownership?
You need to check the rear lug nuts asap!!! There's been reports of left rear wheels coming off and others have reported the lugs coming loose but catching it in time.
