Could be a good deal. Early set from a 575M, not a Superamerica, although the rears are identical to those fitted to the SA. SA fronts and late 575M fronts (210660) had the rim reduced to fit the 398 mm CCM front brakes.
Yes, interesting idea to sell the 575 modular wheels on BAT. Not sure what the going price would be for a set with tires. Current bid is up to $7205. Maybe I should sell mine and go back to my stock 18" 550 alloy wheels? Are any of the BAT bidders on fchat? On BAT, their names are Anteater65, ChrisDugan, Henryr, Atlshaver, etc. .
The 575 set is nice if you have to have factory ones, someone recently was posting exact duplicates for like $6-7k i forgot who. The wheels don't make or break it for me, I have the regular 575 wheels and I don't lose sleep over it. Im definitely not paying $15k for the wheels or whatever, it makes 0 sense to me, there's a nice silver 575 with them for sale now 14k miles asking 105k here in florida near me. Is the car worth $90k then sans the wheels/tires? Meh they look cool but wheels don't make the car or driving experience.
Aesthetically, I much prefer the standard wheels to be honest. I can see why people want them though, and I will likely eventually pick up a set just for the sake of completeness...but not for anything close to $15k, I'm sorry but that's nuts for something I don't even really like the look of!
Yes, agree. I like my 550 both ways. Here are two pics of it. 575 Modulars vs. Stock Alloys. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
There's 2 sets on ebay of the modulars, one is asking $15k and one is asking $17,500 LOL. It's probably cheaper to just buy the 575 im telling you about for $105k and swap the wheels and just sell the car back. Someone on here really was selling duplicates for like $6k i believe very recently, anyone remember who that was? What is the difference other than its "not factory"?
I'm so glad you still have that car, Ron! Makes me happy to see long-term relationships Gorgeous 550 no matter what wheels she's wearing.

I didn't like the 550 Barchetta modulars that were on my 456M. They had too rough a ride for such a laid back 2+2 GT. Sure, they looked awesome, but I put real actual miles on that car. I wanted the ride to be the way I wanted, so I got the stock wheels. That little bit of extra sidewall made a huge difference to me. It looked a lot more laid back, and I have no problem with that. Those original 456 wheels won some sort of design award back in the day, BTW. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, those 18" Modulars that came on the 550 Barchetta have a "deeper dish" look to them. My friend Bill who owns a yellow 550 went with the 18" Modulars and we're always comparing the wheels when we park at local events. First picture is much better because of the wheels and the girl. I had the 575 19" modulars on my 550 and they looked awesome. I never would have thought to put them on myself but they came with the car.
That smile in the first picture looks better than the wheels, and I like the wheels' look a lot. I bought a set of the replicas from Exoticar Auto who posts here. The look, quality and finish of the replicas are fantastic. Plan to install and save the OEMs that came with my car.
Henry- Only if you like the 70s look of deep dish. Some of us do not. More tire choices in general for the 19s, too, and more rubber on the road.
I have on my 550 from 2000 the 18" wheel of the barchetta... i would gladly exchange against the 19" if ever anyone is interested Image Unavailable, Please Login
The high bid on the set of 575 Modular Wheels remains at $7205 with only 5 hours left to go in the BAT auction. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/set-of-4-oem-ferrari-575-superamerica-19-modular-wheels/ It will be interesting to see what they finally sell for (or if the seller put a reserve on the auction and they don't sell). .
