They've got a great deal Rent a motorhome parked at turn one for the weekend food and drink included sleeps six for 18k
Just FYI, hopefully before you pull the trigger on that, they don't park any RVs at turn 1. The closest RVs can get is way back away from turn 2 or near turns 5-8, and you can't see very well from anywhere in that lot. What you can see will generally either be very far away or obstructed to the point that you can't see the cars much.
Gossage: TMS concedes regional rights in new IndyCar deal. San Antonio street race on IndyCar's radar. https://www.star-telegram.com/sports/nascar-auto-racing/texas-motor-speedway/article217012870.html Interesting that he specifically mentions IndyCar looking at San Antonio and says nothing about COTA.
Also, Toyota recently pulled its sponsorship for the LBGP. Toyota has a huge Tundra factory in San Antonio, so that could have some bearing on this thing. Who knows ...
I used to do security for the sound system at the old San Antonio Grand Prix in the late 80's/early 90's, so we've done street races here before. I even got a section of brake rotor from a crashed Ferrari one year. Back then, I thought it was as much of a Ferrari as I'd ever own. Still have it.
Looks like COTA's trying to get Texas taxpayers to pay for another race via the ETF subsidy. This time it's IndyCar, from 2019-23. https://t.co/LAxcKDQjDI Image Unavailable, Please Login
