I've been subscribing to the Moto GP VideoPass for several years now. Very much worth it! You get all three races in real time. Moto GP Pre-Race is on now.

I switched to Spectrum from U-Verse and cut my bill in half. I believe it's $149 now.

There was real racing only during the five last laps though... apparently it's due to the tyres... But unlike in F1, there was some brilliant fighting during these last laps.
Ducati 1-2 is a nice result, even though Marquez has a comfortable lead.

Rossi cooked his tires early trying to keep the race pace, but he looked good until they faded out.

No off week so another race next Sunday!

I am always concerned when the Doctor starts with a softer tire than his main rivals, because if he doesn't take the lead and extend it early on, we get exactly what we saw. Brilliant race nonetheless. The Ducs did a fantastic job.

I don't think he has a choice this year, the Yamaha is really struggling for pace and acceleration. That softer front is probably the only thing allowing him to stay near the front for as long as he did, and he had to just pray it would hold on long enough to stay on the podium.

Would have loved JLO to take the win, I wish he was staying at Ducati for another 2 years :(

What a race from Lorenzo and Marquez... such a shame it took so much time into the season to Ducati and Lorenzo to sort out the bike...

Great battle at the front, and especially interesting with the top 3 guys all on different tire strategies. Lorenzo threw the gauntlet down in grand fashion. You gotta wonder if he is second guessing himself going to Honda.

Such a shame to see the factory Yamahas struggling the way that they are. Rossi doesn't have too many years left in him, and it's a shame to see him on an uncompetitive bike. He doesn't have time to play around.

From my perspective, he has nothing left to prove - should call it a career now rather than risk injury or getting more uncompetitive.

Didn't think it was possible a race would be permanently cancelled due to weather. Why not wait until later in the day or just the next day? Wow. I would have been furious if I was a fan that traveled from out of the country for that...

It's the all new track surface. It undulates and has low spots now that allow for standing water. Not the fault of Moto GP organizers at all, it's all on the management of Silverstone.

They will investigate, of course: https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/904325/1/british-motogp-cancellation-triggers-investigation

Pity that Tito Rabat got a multiple leg fracture requiring emergency surgery before they pulled the plug.

With almost any track there is a possibility of a wash out, I am surprised they didn't have a plan in place to run the race on the following Monday. MotoGP has the next weekend off, and I can not imagine they are on that tight of a schedule.

I read somewhere the track would not have enough marshalls on Mon to run the race. How on earth do a track in England & Dorna not have backup plans for a place known for rain???

well when you think about all the operating costs for a race track, employees, security, traffic personal, sanitation, utilities, etc.... if they had to run an extra day they probably would be loosing money. though there are ways to ensure that an extra day would not be a loss.

IndyCar ran the 2018 Alabama GP @ Barber race on a Monday due to rain on Sunday. They are nowhere near as profitable or popular as MotoGP. NASCAR does race on Mondays occasionally as well.
