Wow! Car is an Fchater/Rennlister person. Guy had it for sale for long time. Sad! By the posts looks like the seller did let it go for $57K I watched that car for a while on Fchat and would loved to have had that car at $60k.

I think I remember reading another ad on this 430 Challenge and the current engine rebuild had about 16k klm on it. If this car was running up front in CCR it probably had some "engine tweaks" such as higher compression pistons, etc which greatly reduce engine life. According to a major independent shop that ran these cars in CCR and built these "tweaked motors" they were only good for about 10k miles before needing a 25 to 30k engine rebuild. So perhaps the low price was reflective of this future cost. It would be interesting to hear others experiences running 430 Challenge - me personally, I bought a 360 Challenge because it had a fresh factory crate engine with less than 500 miles on it.

An F430 for £55k. Wow. Don't think I have witnessed one less than £80k RHD here. There is currently a LHD 46k miles car for £75k on Pistonheads.

Actually about right for a track car. I presume it's not road legal?

Eh, I freaked out at the title of this thread till I saw it was a Challenge car...not street legal, such a niche market that I'm surprised that they sell for anywhere close to a street legal car...Probably a headache averted.
