    24 month concours rotisserie restoration by marque expert Mark Passarelli. Fresh restoration. 500 test miles since. (Mark is known for his 300SL restorations and I was lucky enough to be his first Colorado customer since he moved his shop back to his hometown to be closer to family in Salida, CO).

    DB172 Anthracite gray metallic over burgundy red interior (641) with matching custom 3 piece luggage. Books, tools, jack and full spare. We matched the absolutely stunning color combination of the last 300SL Gullwing that Mark restored.

      • Weak points identified and replaced with new metal. Top notch metalwork.
      • Proper welds to specification (no overlap welds). Factory spot welds.
        • Lower rear quarters replaced (restorer preference).
        • Front passenger headlight bucket/surround repaired
        • Floor crossmember repair fabricated
        • Passenger floor small patch repaired
      • Underbody sealed and primed
      • Underbody painted in proper MB “beige” to specification
      • Wheel wells painted to proper MB specification including feathering in of underbody to wheel well
      • No tape lines. Factory overspray pattern replicated.
      • Battery box floor replaced to specification.
      • Engine bay prepped and painted to spec.
      • Trunk edge metal repaired and replaced with new metal
      • All gaps to MB specification. Hood corner required some modification.
      • Exterior sealed, primed and painted in DB641 Anthracite Gray Metallic (matching 300SL Gullwing previously done by Mark)
      • Wheels and hubcaps painted to match
      • Final cut, buff and final detailing
      • All new rubber seals and gaskets; doors, windows and trunk.
      • New matching wind lace fabricated
      • Exterior lights and marker lights to proper US specification
    • Interior and Gauges
      • All Gauges, clock and dash components removed.
      • Dash painted in proper matching DB172 Anthracite gray metallic
      • Restored Steering wheel and chrome horn ring and wheel center star
      • New OEM turn signal stalk
      • All gauges removed and sent to Palo Alto Speedometer for restoration
      • Proper 190SL “wind up” glovebox clock restored
      • Vintage Becker radio (updated with USB and iPod) while maintaining classic look
      • OEM rubber front floor and console mat

      • German Squareweave Carpeting throughout. Including front floors under rubber mat (additional to OEM spec for consistency and appearance).
