Back when I had my first car, I was into euro-pop (Duran Duran, etc.) and I would buy these black on black metal Pulsar watches. They were all the rage. I say watches because I lost two of them. While driving my Fiat, I would slide the watch over the gearshift and let it sit on the shift boot. I kid you not when I thought two watches went missing due to theft (over a summer). When I had to get my transmission looked at, you can guess what they found in the shift assembly...parts. I guess I wasn't exactly aware of those hard to make shifts. Fast forward to today, and my collection is a little more upscale and I never leave a watch in a car. Not enough insurance to justify that mistake again.
Expanding. They bought Glycine two years ago and also own TechnoMarine. With the other brands they own, I think they cracked the top ten producers by volume.
Thanks. I bought this strap several years ago so its not a current model. Most of the straps I buy come from these sources: https://www.bulangandsons.com/watch-straps.html https://shop.hodinkee.com/collections/straps https://www.abpconcept.paris/
Great watches boys! I need to work less and spend more time enjoying days off while wearing my Rolex.
