    John Cant sales guy tried to do the same to me when I crunched the GT4, tried selling me the Maserati with the boomerang tail lights, said it was the same as a Ferrari, good investment :p

    check out Enthusiast Insurance www.enthusiast.com.au - around the same price as Shannons but they will insure you if you haven't owned a performance car before.

    All else fails, go to RACV. You'll pay through the nose but they'll insure you.

    I was in the same boat when I bought the 355. Shannon’s wouldn’t insure me until I’d had it for a year, so I went with Dawes (for two years as it turned out) then moved it to Shannon’s where it’s been ever since.
