    50k should get you a C43 amg. That's what i would go for.

    Actually, for a bit more you can get an Alfa Giulia QV..that is what i would get!

    C43 is at the top of the list. Others near the top are the new S4, a BMW 740i, and a CLS400. Not as much power for the 740i and CLS400 but more bang for your buck I feel. Guilia QVs I haven't seen below 60s. Also looking at Infiniti Q70L.

    Ideally I'd like to go private party to limit the tax

    I'd suggest looking at the AUDI S6, may need a few more shackles but what a car for a daily driver...
