I know how rare these are but if anyone knows of a low mileage ( under 7k miles) example for sale please let me know.

Honestly, if you find one, ignore the mileage requirement and buy it. There are only a handful.

39 to be exact, and 6 of those were UK RHD.

11,800 miles on a 13 year old car is too high. I officially no longer understand modern car collectors.

Agreed. That is a beautiful car. The 4,000 mile difference is nothing if you're going to drive the car.

Why not just buy a low mile Barchetta?

I know of one. Not sure if it's still available. Send me an email (not PM, don't PM your email) and I will look into it.

I would but this would be an add on to my personal collection. All my cars have less than 5K miles and I would like to keep it that way. It is just a personal preference.

Can you settle for White/Sabbia, HGTC, F1, 7750 miles. A nice gentleman here is possibly looking to part with his. You don't see cars of this particular combo come up much for sale.

Find a broker. Only 33 LHD 3 pedal Superamericas built, at most (39 total, including 6 RHD UK). Not a very big pool of possibilities, especially with very low mileage.

Good luck. It' s incredible how much is high the price of such a car with the manual gearbox: here a friend wants to sell his 575 F1 SA and asks just 360 K euro while for a manual the asking prices are almost twice

    ciao

I don't know if you saw, but this month at Gooding in Monterey there is a 2,600 mile example coming up to auction. Rosso Corsa/Tan with the HGTC package.

It was a beautiful example of that car. I went up to $830K on the bid but once the other guy bid $850K I was out. That is $935k with premium and was just way too much.
All the good cars at the auctions went for above market in my opinion. There were a few steals but nothing that interested me.

I think you made a smart move.... 900K is a lot of money for that car .. it was nice enough but they had several with F1s for around 375K ... at the auctions... gotta really like to shift to Pay an extra 550K for the privilege....you could buy an F1 SA and a Barchetta for 935k......

Gooding published the sale price as $913K for the car which backs into a winning hammer price bid of $830K if you use their normal 10% Buyer's premium. Did you end up with the car for your $830K bid or do you think they lowered the winning bid for some reason? I was there and thought the winning bid was $850K also, so maybe they just posted a typo on the final price with the premium.

Did any one see what the 2005 575 HGTC went for?

If it was the 2600 mile one at Gooding & Co. it hammered at $165K, so it sold for $181.5K including the 10% buyers premium.

Yip, I was at $175,000 all day long, a day late a buck short.... Mark my words this car will be worth 2x in three years.

I agree, I think the HGTC buyer got a good deal. The SA HGTC manual buyer, 75% of me thinks he overpaid, and 25% of me thinks he's like the guy who bought a NART Spider for $20k in 1970.
