I've seen mentions of the gems in the brother's collections but have never seen a comprehensive list/thread on the topic. Obviously I'm not digging for any confidential info, just cars shown and known publicly - similar to the Ralph Lauren and Bardinon threads.

    Thanks in advance!

When I get a chance, I will give a list of the cars I know they own or have owned. Although I must note the number is said to be around 600+ cars

Correction: the 300S owned by the McCaw`s was #3061, not #3062.
They also own(ed?) one of the ex-Panamericana Mercedes 300SL.

The list above is not comprehensive. And confuses some ownership between the brothers. Cavillino also isn’t joint ownership either but just one brother.

However, clearly they individually and collectively own a spectacular collection. It is wonderful that they willingly display and race these cars though so everyone can experience them. Great people and stewards.

This roster is outdated and has numerous significant inaccuracies vis-a-vis current ownertship and roster status....
A number of these-some really "big" cars- have ben gone for many years....

None the less: it remains the single largest collection of "big" cars in one family on the planet-IMHO....

I think this thread needs an update. Since this thread was created I believe John McCaw sold 2417GT, 0766TR, 0736TR and 0684.

I've read on another site that Craig sold 3505GT but can't attest the veracity of such statement.

Does Bruce still owns his prized cars (2643GT, 0286AM, etc.)?

Did they bought anything relevant in the meantime?

They have also sold innumerable Aston Martins, Bugattis, Fords, Jaguars and so on. But still their collection includes so much more in all sorts of areas from Mercedes to Rolls-Royce.
