As of today I'm the proud owner of this 1999 F355 Berlinetta. I've owned a handful of sports cars over the years including a Datsun 280z (my first car), Porsche 914 2.0, a supercharged 2001 Roush Mustang and several E36 M3's varying from bone stock to my current 500 whp turbo car. Through all of those the dream has always been a F355. Sometimes things just fall into place and the right car lands in your lap - that was exactly the case here. This car checked all the boxes for me and I'm looking forward to many years of ownership.

Here's a little more info about he car -
    - 29,600 miles
    - Belt service performed August 2015 (less than 500 miles ago)
    - Full service history included and has been maintained by Blackhorse Motorwerks in Kansas City for the last 9 years and roughly 12,000 miles
    - Full Capristo exhaust - including headers and bypass valve
    - Factory Carbon Sport Seats
    - Factory fender badges (recessed into the fenders)
    - Most of the stickes are taken care of

I'm headed off to Oshkosh, WI for Airventure 2018 but plan to pick the car up the first weekend in August.

fantastic, yellow on Black.. and seems well sorted.. congrats.. you will surely enjoy..!

as well for me, my first Ferrari had to be an F355 Berlinetta..

similarly prior I had a Supercharged 350Z with loads of power.. it is long forgotten no comparison to the 355..!

Thanks for all the kind words.

Like I said this car checked all the boxes for me - here was my shopping list
    - Well maintained with reasonable records
    - Overall above average condition (had to come from an owner who loved it)
    - Berlinetta
    - 3 pedals
    - Not Red (nothing against red cars, just a personal thing)
    - Replaced exhaust (headers for sure)
    - Valve guides addressed (these have been bore scope inspected and verified to be late model guides with no issues)
    - 100% working condition (windows, locks, a/c, lights, etc)

The factory shields, challenge grille and sport seats were the icing on the cake that sealed the deal with this one.

Another bonus is that it still has the factory Ferrari radio in the dash and it works!

That is a perfectly set up car. Without knowing what you paid it’s safe to say you got a good deal as setting up all of that cost lost of money (the exhaust and orignal spec of shields, grill etc) vs if you bought a very clean car and had to add the exhaust/headers, grill seats (!) etc.

Best of luck with her! Yellow brake calipers too!!

Congrats! Looks like a fantastic beast. Like you, I had to go non-Rosso Corsa once I saw the color that really stuck with me (in my case, Blu Scuro).

Enjoy Osh! I've only ever visited for a day; I intend to fly in and camp for the entire week at some point before the FAA pulls my card when I reach true old man status.
