    hi guys,
i have a 2010 458 that I am thinking of trading for a GTC4 Lusso v12 and found a good specced one at Naples Motorsports, in Naples Florida.

Does anyone here have experience with this dealership (not a Ferrari authorized dealer but deals in high end "pre-owned" Ferrari's, Lamborghini, AM, Lotus, Bentley, Maserati, McLaren, RR, etc..)

does anyone have contacts at the dealership who will give me a fair trade on my 458 and the new Lusso?

(also cross posted in V12 forum)
    Thanks,
    kevin

You're buying the car, not the dealership. Just check the car out.

i have not purchased anything from them but have friends that have. All were very happy with the experience. One purchased a ‘05 Bentley and subsequently ran into an issue with the convertible top. The dealer offered to buy the car back and find him another one.

    Good luck

I bought my 612 OTO from them in Jan of this year.
After 6 months of looking, I found a broken wheel well gravel guard (about $250) and sticky parts- which were sticky when I bought it.

    No complaints

I haven't bought a car from them but have been in the dealership multiple times. I have come to know Mike Urbine (salesman) and I have found him knowledgeable, helpful and willing to answer questions. When I first met him, I was simply at the dealership looking at the cars. Although I wasn't buying a car at the time, he took me and showed me around and we discussed the dealership. If I was in the market and they had a car I wanted, I wouldn't hesitate to deal with them. Regardless, you must still do your due diligence on any car you are looking to buy. Good luck!

If it is a " common car"...430,360, 599, etc....they will move some on the price. If it is more exclusive, the sticker is the price- no negotiation. Expect typical low end offer for your car. Not sure what your expectations are. Nice people...

I have never purchased from Naples Motorsports but I have looked at cars there over the years and they are always exquisite. Naples Florida is an extremely small wealthy community on Florida's West Coast near Marco Island and there is definitely a lot of money and a lot of collectors in the area so they do tend to get fine examples of cars. Just my two cents.

Good, but if you watch "American Greed" please do remember that the Naples area is the playing [breeding] ground of "wealthy" people who end up behind bars or simply disappear.........

Will respectively disagree, buying into the dealership or sellers honesty and integrity is very important for a lot of buyers. We have a few "bad apple" Indy dealers here in Houston, and they can fool even knowledgeable buyers. Best to stay away from them.

I know nothing about them save some positive word of mouth, but the question I have is, why are you going from a 458 to a Lusso V12? Pretty radical move!

yes, we have become "snowbirds", and rent a single family home in Coquina sands in Naples for the winter....Bentleys on every corner, LOL

yes, as opposed to NY, LA, Chicago etc....no wealthy people ending up behind bars in those cities either...

despite being a "snowbird", still have to deal with winters (6 months, ugh) up here in New York, so 4 wheel drive (and 4 seats) come in handy so I can drive this car year round as a DD..just not driving the 458 as much as I should.....I have a GT3, GT4 and upcoming RS, so plenty of sports car fixes!

    ^Okay, that makes sense. I love the Lusso V12, but I wouldn't give up a 458 for it! :)

Ha! I don’t trust any car dealers. That would be trusting the pusher man.

There are dealers that I trust to a point (I would get a PPI even if my Mother was the seller), but there are the ones who make their money with bottom feeder cars who think the truth is a rubber band and stretch it as much as possible.

So I prefer to buy both the car AND the seller.

I thought the same thing but like him the 458 is no fun if it sits. While you fall in love with a 458 after 5 minutes or so behind the wheel it took me a week or two with the Lusso. Zero regrets. The car does everything so great.

I haven't bought anything from them, but I found Mike Urbine to be exceptionally helpful.

Be sure to take a tour of both the rear of the shop and the second building and see what cars and projects they're working on. Some are vintage show winners, and are very different from their normal exotic stuff.

Guys there own cars for unbelievably short periods of time, and then move on to a new toy, damn the depreciation.
