f car newb... picking up 360 modena this weekend

Ab- Jdm ferrari.

Bass- good call... mine did same thing, then after 280 mile trip home it got better. I push the shifter way over to the right and it goes into 6 fine. Will check that out. Figured it was a 360 ‘mt thing’. Thx

Btw- i did better than 15-20%... But ill leave actual facts figures off .. save that for the watch forums. This is not that kind of thread. I do have my eye on a 1680 when the right one comes along. Can have service dial hands np. Love looking at that thick acrylic crystal.

 

360 Modena 'francesca' update....... went to p/u car from shop, and I pull up, and the guys are under her...... with clutch fluid leaking..... the little dist block where the clutch fitting screw in developed a crack.... it was weeping... they tried to dress and tighten it... and it cracked. Another 3 more days..... oh Francesca I miss her so !

as long as it's still in the shop.... my new CS ex arrives from London via DHL Thurs..... so I'll have the enzo noises coming next week!

so after 3+ weeks of ownership, and 2 days of that in my possession...... she is now home with me!
new tires, curbed wheels resolved, oil change, cam belts/tensioners, new water pump/coolant, complete paintless paint restoration, clutch line block fixed, and radio code entered for my 90's cd collection. Time to log some miles. I'll try to make it out to F of San Antonio tomorrow for a meet.

found a genuine f maglite..... for my manual.. should be here soon.
had low expectations of the factory sound system..... and quite pleased with the rather simple system... more than adequate for some 90's tunes.

Foto—- if I get time I was thinking about searching tracking and plotting 360 ask/bid/sell data over time to see what’s what. But then I had to resume my normal life and I stopped w this task lol. When I get some time I’m curious about meaningful data....,,

 

Interesting data——. F car value drops after 40k miles? Disposable car? Magical milestone of despair?

GP - totally agree..... just find the ferrari buyers to be picky about miles....... I guess as long as there are similarly priced examples for sale with lower mileage the higher mlg cars will sell last or not at all...... I suspect it will be the increase in price for the 'collector variants - low miles'..... that will rise the price of all variants accordingly as those get taken off the market and put into posh-car-dens with lavender and spice

 

Ok gents... need a little troubleshooting help.... will research when Home from work:

got to work, and set alm….. and alm just chirps constantly.
I turn alm off with keyfob, door lock opens, and chirps stop.

Repeat same results.

Drove home at lunch.... get home same results.

I did a search ideas:
1. low car battery? car starts runs fine.
2. low/dead siren battery? how to diagnose? Or just suck it up and buy one for $350 from ferr parts?
