Better pics would be great! Especially around the adjustment knob and tilt lever.Seat id can be quite tricky. Are the seats identical from a 911SC of the same era? Just thinking about where I could find some now.

    Hi guys,
I am interested in acquiring a nice original ROW 3.0 930 at a realistic price, preferably 75 or 76, but 77 is also an option if car is nice. Please PM me if you have/know one.
    Thanks

Do you have anymore information in Interlake Porsche? I have a 79 Turbo that was sold new by them. Looking for license Plate frame and other memorabilia. Thanks in advance.

Email the PCA chapter presidents in Washington state. They can put out a wanted ad online, or an email last.

Well, I've been too busy to read this thread. Lots of great stuff the last month or two. Glad the book has been helpful!

Topocalma, PM me your chassis number with black headliner. I'd like to double check my notes on this.

Kevin Moodley, Japanese ROW cars had a different engine type 930/54 for emissions reasons. It is not the same as the other ROW countries...nor is it the same as the USA type. I'm not sure why they didn't just use the USA version for Japan models, I could never find an answer on this.

Porsche Bellevue is owned by Auto Nation. Absolutely worthless dealership and customer service. Don't waste your time.

    Hi Ryan,
My car is a 76 model with the 52 series engine, so same as ROW series.
I guess we will never know the reason for this differentiation.
I did pick up somewhere that the Japan cars had a Mechanical speedo and only marked to 250 kph.

Kevin, yes, I should have qualified that statement that 1977 models had the type 930/54 engine. 1976 Turbos received 930/52 engines, but there was something different since documents I've seen noted JAPAN for individual engines, while all other 930/52 engines received no special designation. Maybe someone will crack the code one day and we can all figure out why/what is different. Performance wise I don't think it matters (in general).

For my early 930 (76-77) what does equipment for Puerto Rico mean in the COA? What equipment was different for a USA car?

I have these listed for a client, if anyone needs tartan seats.

These have been in a Turbo 3.0 from 1975 and were redone a few years ago in very fine quality.

Please note shipping varies on destination, located in europe, we will ship to the US

Wow, I even remember that ad from way back on Pelican. I was in the market for my first Porsche, I ended up with a '72 coupe. I should have bought every car I saw, in hindsight!

    A first time for everything...

Last weekend I took my 1977 to the Hillsborough Concours D'Elegance

While I can't say I loved the whole "Concours" thing especially when it comes to the guy with Q-tips cleaning their wheels, it was a fun day to meet some very cool people, check out some killer cars, hang with friends I invited down, eating & drink some good food, etc. With Hillsborough only being 25 minutes south from my home, it can't get any easier.
