I bought a black prancing Horse to replace my Chrome one if I want to go back to original . My car is a 91. First time I have noticed the subtle differences, mainly the back legs. Did they change much over the years?

Yes, the silver horse's right hind second, third and fourth metacarpals are fractured.

Actually if you look closely there are many differences. This is the case with the horse depicted in the shield emblems as well over the years. I don't know if the changes are intentional, or simply interpretations by various vendors that make these for Ferrari...but they seem to vary a lot over the years

The cars did not come with the cavallino in the front grille from the factory, but almost everyone has added one over the years.

Other than mine with the broken leg! Lol, there are subtle variations from horse to horse.

The original cars had black horses to commemorate Enzos death.
