That X is insanely photoshopped. Windshield rake, rear pillar rake, etc. Try it with a normal X. Here is a proper X, with 14” CD50s. Wanna try 17”s? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Generally speaking, across various marques and models +1 or +2 on the wheel sizing from OE is what proportionately works best for aesthetics before it becomes cartoony.
The Huracan is using 20" front and rear, and the Aventador is 20"s up front and 21"s the rear. It's all about the dubs baby.
Count me as another who really, really likes the modular conversion of the stock wheels. Perfect combination of the 348 defining look, combined with 90s high performance excellence with exposed fasteners and deep dish. Looks both aggressive and appropriate. No longer like a front wheel drive car . I love it. Right up there with Speedlines and BBS LMs.
Not for me, not a bit. Each to their own but just as some like it then I hate it. Looks like a pimped chav thing
While surfing the net I came across another pic of the dropped 348 riding on custom "dubs" made from stock wheels. I really love they way they look!
I also found pics on another 348 that was slammed to the ground on 20"s. My guess is they have it on bags. It was from a gathering in Chattanooga Tennessee. If it's anyone here SPEEK UP bro! I wanna see some engine pics, what you did to the suspension, and the interior of the car.
Always liked these HRE before they stopped making them. The car is lowered which helps they are 19 I believe. Image Unavailable, Please Login
While yes everyone is entitled to their own opinion, taste, and choice on what to do or not do with their own car, I personally love all of this. Eliminating the wheel gap makes every sports car look better. Obviously the air ride slammed on the ground is parking only. The number of cars popping up like this recently only shows the interest in the 348 from the younger generation. This is good! Look at Porsche, RWB started cutting cars up and going to the extreme and people either love it or hate it but it builds interest in the car, and interest is desirability and desirability value. I bought an early 911 roller for $3500 in 2013, sold it in the exact same condition last year for $15,000. If I can get the same kind of appreciation out of my 348 because others want to do things like this to theirs, YES PLEASE!!
I've actually been thinking of adding a 'air lift kit' on the front end so I can get in and out of parkings with ease, I have to start doing some research...
Image Unavailable, Please Login Something like this is probably what you want. coil over with an air lift cylinder on top. There are others very similar that use more of a standard air bag style top section but this idea would be the best. Pic just taken from google for reference and has nothing to do with manufacturer.
What you need is lift picks installed. Look into https://www.ramliftpro.com/ or https://www.stanceparts.com/ Not sure about installing tanks in the boot etc. Love the idea but ugh... its a Ferrari...
Yes exactly, I want to avoid adding weight esp a big tank. I found this: https://1civfy8sjph3i934dtge7zi1-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/iLIFT-Suspension-Lift-System-Universal-Fitment-Sheet-v1.pdf Like you posted, there's also the hydraulic route. http://race-car-replicas.com/parts/hydraulic-lift-kit
RCR uses the ramlift pro unit. That's it in the link picture. "Pretty sure" sure you need shorter springs for the ramlift.pro units. Sent from my LM-Q710(FGN) using FerrariChat.com mobile app
