We can still get all the good paints up here. Imron is good but I prefer endura
Yes I have tried them not up to South Americas regulations at the time I got my paint. Even SA has adopted for the most part less quality paints. The tell tale sign the paint is not what it used to be is when they say "clearcoat it for added protection". Back in the day clear was the weakest part of the paint and only used as a binder or to add dept to a custom paint job. Have not tried Endura I may have to check them out
Installed the 'strakeless' door vents this weekend. Love how they turned out. Image Unavailable, Please Login
There she goes again. This car is in incontinent. Can't hold her fluids. Image Unavailable, Please Login
been going crazy.. what wheels are these on this 348..? the guy says 355's but to my understanding these were not a 355 option..?
Apparently they're Speedlines, as you can just make out in the bottom pic. They look great on this black car. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
ok thanks.. I assumed they were OEM wheels.. but from which car..? I thought maybe a 456 or 550 but they don't match.. could the guy in the vid be right.. that these were a rare OE option for the 355..?
FOUND them. Look up "Speedline Magnesium Saleen" apparently there's a ferrari fitment too, but the most consistent pics come from the late 94-98 saleens. http://saleenforums.soec.org/showthread.php?t=4492 now, mustangs are 5x114.3 and 348's are 5x108, IIRC.... sjd
Save the smaller of the two pics, open it in your favorite photo viewer, and magnify it. You should be able to make out "Speedline" at the bottom of the wheel. Which makes them aftermarket unless Ferrari contracted with Speedline to make wheels for them, which I have not heard of.
Nice find! I remember them now that you put them in context. Apparently all those folks who confuse Ferraris with Moostangs are on to something after all.
Saleen: Image Unavailable, Please Login Ferrari: ahhhh...if they were only the same bolt pattern. Saleen guys give them away for $1200-2000 / set. sjd
No painted rocker panels. No aftermarket wheels. No aftermarket shields. Just the way Ferrari intended. I love it! IMHO Joe
That's because they only fit Fords. Sheesh, what a cesspool that place is, huh? I think the GT350 is a very cool car, but who'd want to have to deal with that crowd? Sad part is, the only difference in the wheels is where the bolt holes were drilled and the center bores. So close, and yet so far. Too bad so many great wheel styles have been discontinued, leaving mostly ricey looking garbage. Looked online a while back for wider wheels for my 4x4 but 96% of the styles available looked like they belonged on a drift car, and it's even harder to find car wheels. With all the interest in neo-classics these days BBS could sell hundreds of RSs and LMs, but pretty much everything these days is aimed at children.
Me too. I've got a Nouvalari Supersport on mine right now, have thought about replacing it with that Rarefab unit tooooo many times. Hrmmmm
