Beautiful red and silver 1968 Moto Guzzi V7/Ambassador. Full mechanical restoration with big bore, kit, carb rebuild, new brakes, new Borranis - everything to make the bike better than new mechanically. Bike also has new tires, a leather solo seat and small luggage rack on the rear fender.

All work was done with no expense spared by Moe and Ryan at Cycle Garden, the Moto Guzzi experts. www.cyclegarden.com/index.php

Moe believes, based on the SN, that this is one of the last V7s before the Amassador was introduced in the U.S., making it very rare and collectible.

I am reluctantly selling, as I no longer ride.

    Price: $8,500

I’ve dropped the price to $7,500 obo. It’s really a beautiful, classic, comfortable, reliable cruiser but I just don’t ride it anymore and it should be enjoyed by someone!

Another resource in CA is Todd Eagan from Guzzi Tech.

Todd is awesome too. This is such a sweet, classic cruiser with an incredible power band. You can easily understand why LAPD loved ‘em for so long.

Yup, a sad sign of neglect .... I hardly drive the 308 anymore either. Confession - it’s now on CA non-op status.

Don’t judge ... kids and work and all the usual excuses. Selling the Guzzi is my first step to recovery

Me judge? Ha. When I was at my worst, my car insurance ran more than $1,000 a month and I had mice building nests in exhaust pipes.

Easy as can be. Just push the button.

In all candor, I have never had to - and never tried to - kick start the bike. Electric start works wonderfully.
