Hi everyone! I've been looking for a 550 Maranello registry, a place where we could find out how many of our cars were made. Along with options, colors, locations, production numbers per year, start/ending serial numbers... The whole lot... But have not been able to find one. So, let's make one! THIS IS HOW IT'LL WORK Send me a message with the following information: Last 6 digits of your VIN number Factory Interior color Factory Exterior color LHD or RHD? Options/ Modifications Location (this is optional) Ferrarichat username (this is optional) After receiving each message, I'll add each car's info here: https://bit.ly/2KImGAs, where everyone can look at the registry and leave comments.
Michael, Are you aware of the website F-register? The site is a comprehesive compiling of VINs and other data on Ferraris that has been clearly collected over years. However, that site is going to disappear at the end of 2018, I assume because the individual(s) are retiring or otherwise running out of steam. They promise 10 updates to the data in 2018 and have done 3 I think so far. It would be a great place for you to start your registry list. I am undertaking a similar task for the 456 and 456Ms that came to the US market and am likely to extend mine to cover all 456/456Ms worldwide if possible. Even starting from the F-register data, it is a rather large undertaking. Just thought I would give you a place to look for a leg up on this. Cheers and best of luck.
Michael, thank you for taking the initiative. Message sent. I have a list containing most of the Ferrari serial numbers, including the Maranello. If you need further information, send me a message. Cheers! Martin
I may be late to this whole registry thing. It is cool that the beginning 550 Maranello must have made a big big splash! Top guys drove the 550 including, Fisicella, Larini, schumacher, and scheckter. The Sultan of Brunei had 8 of them!
Yep, Schumacher got an early 1997 Maranello (VIN 109559), just two digits above the VIN of my 550 (109557). I do feel honoured

Yes, I could barely handle Schumacher but was clearly outrun by the Maranello of the Sultan (107916), Eddie Irvine (108600), Michael Jordan (108712), Charlie Sheen (108749) and Steve Young (108979) ;-) Martin
First 575M SN was 123761, followed by 123764 and 123765. Lots of 550s built after those three preproduction models and 123760 was a 550, too.
Highest SN for a 550 on my list is 126807, owned by Pharrell Williams. Lowest SN for a 575M I have on my list (excluding the preproduction models you mentioned) is 126896. Happy to hear whether this matches with the information others might have. Martin
Martin- Here is a better list of 575Ms, but only for ones I have both the SN and AN. There were quite a few 575Ms before 126896 including the Geneva Show cars. All three of those pre-production 575Ms were brought up to production standards and sold through Italian Ferrari dealers who were friends of the factory, as were all the other early 575Ms.
Thank you Taz, very much appreciated. I did not know about the Geneva Show cars, even though I live in Switzerland... Martin
Hi Martin, I just saw this. It would be great to see that list if you'd be able to share it! Best, Michael
According to one of the owners who sent me their car's info saying his car was documented as being the second to last 550 produced (126805), it seems that if all proves correct, 126807 would be the last 550 Maranello produced.
He did, but did not have them for very many. That is why my 575M list is relatively small. I only add 575s for which I have SN and AN. Assembly numbers are much harder to find.
