My CS has been on 235 fronts since its second set of tires back in 2008. The bigger tires are the scud size, so many of us have been running them for a long time with no issues.
Thanks. It’s stuck with PPF shop; i can’t wait to get behind wheel in a couple of weeks. I’ve never been a big Ferrari guy; mainly Porsche. But the CS spoke to me in a way no other Ferrari ever has. I can’t tell if it’s a 1-off event or beginning of something. We’ll see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Does it change the handling / weight of the steering much? I assume since you stuck with them it is a change you would recommend? They fit on the same rims?
yes, they fit on the same rims (do a search, there have been several firsthand experiences posted -iirc some folks had some issues, but iirc it was installer related). I never had 225's on my car in the 7+ years I've had it, so I can't compare the steering feel of the two sizes. That said, my guess is that the weight diff between 225 and 235 is negligible and I've noticed that different brands/models of tires can weigh a lot differently than another tire brand/model even if in the same size. Yes, the larger size worked fine for me (again, do the search, there are more knowledgeable posters than me that have commented on their experience). That said, you have put multiples more thought into it than I have, so you might have different expectations or more sensitive concerns. So, I'm not recommending anything.
They work perfectly for me. ABS works exactly as it should. Honestly I'm not sure if the front wheels are even monitored for traction control. It gives a larger contact patch so you get better turn in, more braking surface area, etc. I'd guess the majority of us wouldn't be able to significantly tell the difference between 225 and 235 unless you spend many many many hours on track. I'm personally of the opinion of keeping things stock as possible but I'll take extra rubber where I can get it. I would leave the rears at the factory dimensions for the electronic monitoring purposes.
Thanks again Dan and ArizonaItalian, Tires purchased and will have them installed at the dealer this week.
I had 235 Bridgestones and just put new 235 Michelin Super Sports on and they now have a very slight rub when turning left on any type of incline. I can only assume it's the new tread depth but it's rubbing none the less.
Everything in the Scud, mechanically, seemed to be just one notch better than in the CS. Exceptions are the gearbox and ability to soften the suspension, both of which are huge leaps ahead. I “liked” the Scud ALOT both driving and the looks but I didn’t “love” the look. The looks are what I do love about the CS and why I’ve landed back on one and am keeping it.

Gents... Love that this thread is still alive and kicking! I sold my first CS 4 years ago and have recently decided to acquire one again. While not the fastest car by any stretch, the CS is pure automotive emotion to me, and I miss it greatly. I loved the car I had, but this time it is going to be a keeper and so spec has to be right. I am intrigued by the Nart blue CS at Naples Motorsports (139280). Do any of you CS gurus know the car and its history? Anything that would concern you about it? Many thx and look forward to joining the CS brotherhood soon again
There appears to be a large difference in CS pricing between the uk and USA. In the uk good ones are over £200k and there are only 5 or so for sale. Not sure how many uk received, can’t see it on ‘how many left’.
Our situations and thoughts on the CS are almost identical. I traded my CS about 5 years ago and have been lucky enough to get back in. Best thing I’ve done. Good luck on your search!
Nart car is advertised as having the medium sized seats ... most cars have large ... I would sit in them to make sure they are comfortable for you !
Just checked again ... ‘was’ advertised as having medium seats ... looks like the site has been updated ... make sure you double check
This is a medium CS seat most people think the large almost to big Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
