In my experience, these cars are more desirable 2nd hand with the stripe. If you plan on keeping the car forever then it doesn't matter.
A skunk w/o a stripe! Pista will earn its stripe if it can knock out Gt2rs at the ring. But I DO like the stripe!
No stripe. Enough with the fake-ish boyracer look. Stripes, black wheels and black roof need to die a quick death.
No stripe. Why? You can always add a stripe via a wrap, but you can never remove one if it's painted. You can also get the exact stripe your want if you go wrap. No restrictions on width, color, pattern, etc. It cheap to do too.
Will be at TM next Friday making final decisions. Here is my current thinking. stripe is iconic among this VS class of car. For good reason. It adds the drama this car deserves. The more dramatic the contours of the car, the better the stripe highlights those features. In particular, the stripe under the front bumper highlights the aerodynamic features of the front spoiler by tracing the airflow through the hood. Ferrari's design team's keystone design feature deserves to be highlighted with the launch stripe. A stripe -it's the least we could do. Salud!
Show me a cheap no-stripe Speciale. Enjoy your car however you like it and don't live under the agonising threat of the resale.

I like it with no stripe. You also have to consider that the stripe-less cars will be a minority in the future...
No really. Wraps are very high quality these days. It's the same logic in with matte paint -- you can accomplish a very similar effect without committing to something that can't easily be changed. For example, would you buy a matte black car or just buy a color you also like knowing you can just wrap it matte black whenever you want for what is more or less the same look? Same goes for a black two-tone roof look. It's incredibly easy to wrap a roof black. You get the best of both worlds depending on how you feel when you wake up that morning.
Show me a Speciale that is raced competitively. That GTO was With respect, i would have preferred that Speciale with painted roof and silver wheels. But what matters is you like it as you paid for it.
'With Stripe' seems to be the more natural look for the Pista> Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is actually one of my fav GTO. I remember exchanging emails with the owner a few years ago. Very friendly and passionate guy. At the time, it was all red.
Fantastic car. Although, I do wish the livery would be stripped off these great cars. They really detract for the purity and the beauty. I never understood the whole fascination with the large dots, numbers and logos. They were only added for racing practicality, not for looks.
I am a huge fan of black roof/no stripe on the Speciale and looked hard to find one. On the Pista though I think the stripe may take eyes away from what looks to be in pictures a front end that is more function than form. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I bet you the no stripe will have a higher resale value down the road. How are no stripe ford gt's doing?
