Must be tough to find. The models on my 512 BBi (chassis 46435 of 1983): the radio is KE-4300 and the equalizer is BP-520.

Thank you, I will check it out. I do have the original equalizer still installed, But back in '84, I guess it was cool to replace the radio with something better, so I did! Who knows what I did with the original. Probably threw it away.
    Was worth ZERO back then!

I believe the correct type number for the Ferrari specific radio is KE4300B. I have seen KE4300 radio's for sale regularly and have bought a couple myself recently. I have not seen any KE4300B for sale the last few years. The difference between the two models is the ferrari logo, facia surround is black on the B model (not grey) and the tuner dial on the B model has the text "eur20mclx" printed. Good luck on your search and please keep us updated on the outcome.

    Best Peter

Somewhere there should be an aftermarket radio from that era in a junk yard. I would believe any cassette universal radio would be period correct? Yes, no?

If you're going to go modern, I would personally go with something that has more of a classic look. Such as-

I do not have the radio, but do have a complete set of radio and equalizer manuals, warranty card, tag, and speaker install card. Complete set reproduced when I had my Boxer, just found this one set.

Best to you in your search. By the way, the KE4300 as you may know came in some Euro Audis of the period, and you may do a 'saved search' to try and locate one that way.

I seem to remember somewhere that Dick Fritz has original radios and exhausts. If you want a correct one for a BBi, he might be a source.

Thank you. I'll look into that.
I settled and bought a modern radio for now. Didn't realize how inexpensive they are!

Great to be back in the real world of pricing sometimes!

You can get the right model of Kenwood without too much difficulty and have someone silkscreen on the F logo
