Hi, I am selling this car for friends who are downsizing and can not take the car. They don't have a computer so I am helping them out. I do not know MG's but owned a TR4 back in the day and have owned lots of older cars including 70's Ferrari's, Lamborghi's and BMW coupes.
I inspected this car and found no rust under doors, in trunk or rockers. There is a spot under side mirrors. Paint is great, car runs nice, interior is in great shape.
1541 miles on rebuilt motor, new paint and seals in 1996, Wilwood brakes, aftermarket sway bars and shocks, aluminum flywheel and harmonic balancing done with rebuild, showbar, Mallory dist., retro stereo with blue tooth, Cameo convertible top that is as new.

Seems like this car is a steal at $7500 but thats all they want for it. If you are in Calif. the car may not smog as is but seller has all the oem parts that come with the car. Personally, I don't think it would be hard to smog this car as is but thats just my opinion.
Its a very clean little hot rod, handles well and looks great.

Engine looks great, but of course a test drive is key. I own a 1980 MGB. Very good dollars per smile ratio. This is a 1976 or earlier. Cheap to insure and fix. Rear duck tail, front air dam, wheels, and headlights are not standard but could easily be reversed. Looks like a roll bar behind seats as well. GLWS.

  3. I think this is an early 1974. Still has the dual carbs & the dash is the earlier version. Nice.

    Nice.

That would be a great candidate for Bring a Trainler.

People will point out everything that’s wrong, but still bid it up past $10k.

    :)
