Ok, I'm very late to the party but just happy some folks over in the F1 section pointed me here.

Fantastic project and what an incredible accomplishment on so many levels.

I'd love to once see the car in person, so I guess I'll have to follow the website more closely.

Here is my ongoing rFactor2 project of this car. Hope you dont mind.
My intention was to make the original car but due to lack of good images I opted to make Jans
version first, with the intention of making the original at a later date, if I can find some decent images. This project is not finished yet, plenty to do. Hope you like.

    Hi Jan,

Could you tell me in what races/ events you will participate this year? I haven't seen your great 156 in real life, and I'm very keen to see it.

What an amazing project! Especially when considering the lack of physical specs that are out there (from what i am finding through a similar project). Just amazing!
Jan, if you are still active here, i would love to ask you some questions and measurements of the car.
    Very much respect!!

A 156 with 120° Dino engine ran at the FoS, does anyone have pictures to share?
Some image about the engine itself would be awesome.
    Many thanks in advance,
    Gab

    Thanks Paul,
I sent them a message asking for some engine pics but they told me that they just made the bodywork so couldn't help me.
Could anyone else help? I am particularly interested in seeing the water/oil piping hidden behind driver's seat of the 120° engine.
    Many thanks in advance,
    Gab

The new April issue of "Classic & Sports Cars" has an article about the latest reproductions, owned by Jason Wright. The 65-degree car is a complete rebuild of the Jan Biekens car, with all new hand-hammered bodywork based on some original drawings that had resurfaced after the original reproduction was built, and new wheels made by Borrani. The 120-degree car is completely new. The cars were painted as they would have appeared in the 1961 Italian GP, as Ricardo Rodriguez' #8 car and Phil Hill's race-winning #2 car. The photography in the article is stunning, though the "test track" the cars were run on (in the rain!) was not identified. If you love the "sharknoses", you need this article!

So how many Sharknose replicas exist today? My guess would be:
    - (ex?) Chris Rea, alluding to s/n 0002
    - ex Jan Biekens now Jason Wright, first yellow now red with new body s/n 0002R
    - completely new car for Jason Wright, no s/n?
